I usually only see audiophile gear on the friends I've converted, and even then, it's just low-end stuff like an M50, Soundmagic E30, etc. Plus, I rarely see even them wearing it. The only nice headphone I've seen that I didn't recommend or influence the purchase of was a V-Moda Crossfade LP, and he just bought it for looks.

Maybe we are all hallucinating?
