A Dita Answer on the bus. Out of a Fiio X5 no less. Who would've thought...

I think that guy had a vorzuge amp... A guy with a vorzuge + X5 stack was at MS and it was mentioned that he has a dita answer

Unless the guy had a massive decal of the Dita logo on the back of his X5, I don't think it was the same guy. Besides, he was using it unamped.

Have we - in all the pages of this thread, had head-fiers inadvertently meet each other by spotting head fi related paraphernalia?

Yesterday woman with Grado SR80 in the train. Today guy with Sennheser Urbanite blue in the bus.

I never really got the idea of people using open-backed headphones in loud public environments. Sounds like a good way to p*ss people off, and not enjoy the music to the fullest at the same time.

Such a waste, really.

There was this really shady guy with this really expensive headphone that made him look like a shady god, as well as an amp that looked like it had real gold in it!  He also had a bunch of Sennheisers and stuff.  It was pretty unnecessary how much stuff he had.  He wouldn't respond to any messages, so I threw away all of the contact information.

Today's journey to work is an interesting one, to my left, Shure SE425, to my right SE535, in front of me a Sony DAP, but then it falls apart, connected to that is a pair of skullcandy earphones...

Was going so well.

AHAHA. Skullcandys to a Sony DAP?

Is he a prankster audiophile trying to see who will flip when they see his setup?

Im
Alas, I was not the daddy, but I am a father of a daughter on the Peninsula who will someday sport high-end cans in high school (rule: no crappy cans allowed in this family! And stay away from non-audiophile boys!). Unfortunately, she's only 22 months right now, so that day will be quite a while away, but I can't wait to pass on to her my L3000s (giving me an excuse to get the L10,000s that'll be out by then!).
im 22 and up for adoption.

This is more of a headphone hearing than sighting..o.O Well, hearing of.
I x-rayed a patient who is a DJ, and said he uses AKGs. He then went on to say that AKGs are good for gaming. So he must certainly know about quality cans =O!
