Not seen anything exciting recently... I'm stuck with things like low end shures or (not sure if this is a UK brand...) house of Marley...

Cool. Saw a lady on the bus this morning with old westone W series iems and on the way home a guy with an old westone UM series iem and another guy with an MTPC ( Monster Turbine Pro Copper ) being driven out of his phone.

A trip down memory lane as I had a turbine before and remembered that they were all the rage back then

I love mah turbine^^. You know, I wish I could identify IEMs I see out and about. But they're so low profile!
I have seen Linus from LinusTechTips wearing an RHA T10 many times though. And maybe a Vsonic GR07? There are a lot of good headphones you'll see on that show; V-MODA M100, Beyer COP, K70X, M50, and many others that I can't remember.

I saw someone with IEMs (looked like westone) and he had them in the wrong way. Think of someone just taking the eartip and jamming it in their ear, leaving the rest of the IEM to hang out.

Yes, that's what I saw

I've seen someone do that with a pair of shures, using them cable down, have been tempted (as travels on the same train as me sometimes) to say something but can imagine being scorned, or slapped around the face and told to mind my own business.

A fine case of people failing to do prior research on the things they buy, or even bother to read the user manual.

Leave them be, I say.

That was a great story, SovietJelly. It had me surprised. I read it out loud to my brother!

I had a nice walk around Boston today, which lead to some sightings.
-iBuds on a really rich-looking fellow. (He left his real cans at home.)
-Sony MDRX10 on a female. Very snazzy-looking!
-Sennheiser HD280 Pro on a guy. They look flipping HUGE on the head!
-Audio Technica M50..Pretty can on a pretty girl. I love the M50's looks!
-Beats Pro..First time I've seen it in the wild. It's kinda hard to identify from certain angles.

I actually held a door for a guy who had some cans. I was gonna say nice cans, but I felt it would be kinda awkward.

Unfortunately those idiots are the ones that make bad reviews without ever really trying them

I see a lot of Monster DNAs now-a-days, probably cuz of their flamboyant looks, those things look uncomfortable though.

Saw this guy biking wearing koss portapros, I will never do that, but I must say it made me feel a little jealous lol,

Thanks CaveManta. I keep seeing those white Sony ZX110s around the city- absolutely everywhere. I always see Bose QC25s as well- they are ridiculously overpriced here in Israel- one can find them for 2000-2500 NIS, which translates to 500-625 USD. If you are lucky you can find them for 1500-2000 NIS, or 375-500 USD. Who spends that kind of money on non studio professional headphones? I myself have some QC15s I inherited from my Aunt and Uncle- my Uncle is a very frequent flyer, which I think is the reason he uses Noise Cancelling headphones.

Rare beast today! JVC sz2000, have never seen in the wild before, had to refer to my handy National Audiobon Society guidebook to be sure
