I use 9€ Sony phones, AKG 518, and another set of free, from work, IEMs when I'm on the go. 
 
 
At home I have a mid-fi rig.
 
 
So I never judge people wearing crappy phones outside. I only have them on so I can filter out everything around me, not listen to details.

saw a fake rip off beats that's supposed to sound better a bunch of Sony's and plattans and a two real beats
 
But then I saw a v moda and a shure 940 to balance that out.
 
I myself use a t90 plus 307k for one the go listening. The t90 surprisingly blocks more and leaks less noise relative to other open headphones.

A few days ago I was on the bus and damn, I realised I was sitting opposite a guy with JH custom IEMs, but I'm not sure what model it was (I don't have a lot of experience with JH products). Also one of my friends got a pair of Sennheiser Momentums - I was surprised since he looked the kind that didn't care for better headphones (he was using a cheap pair of IEMs before that).

This is why I call iPod / iPhone white noise boxes, they entertain the mind just enough to forget how **** life is, lol.
