I saw some form of DT770 at Clementi today (coiled cable). Flat cups, Beyerdynamic lettering across the center. Those things look HUGE.

And...grado's outside..i wonder what that sounds like. ya know with all that outside sound comming in and what your listening to leaking out.

Sounds bad, man.  I don't know how people wear Grados around any sort of outside noise.

I have't used Grado's....as you can tell. my whole town uses Solo's(*Shudder*) but...the fact that it's on ear...with a cushion...with...fully open air back..can't mean anything good around outside.. but as we can see. some can use it. and i probably can too...after a while.

Saw some kid with beats solos in the library today. The worst part is, all of his friends were talking about how "clear" they sound.

Wouldn't ya know it. My school's language lab actually has a couple of decent headphones around. Saw a few AKG K242's lying about, one fairly worn out.

Its not ideal, I have to turn up the volume to try to cancel some of that outside noise...my next purchase will be an IEM so I can isolate and hear at lower volume.

I've also been thinking about some cheap Shure IEM's..the 215's probably. but the fact that they cost $100 makes me think about all the other real headphone goodies i can get for $100....like MS1's
