I just lost hope in humanity again. My parents were watching American idol and right when I look at the TV I see contestants working with artists and producers and guest what headphones they were using in the studio to record and mix?

That aside, surprisingly saw a pair of M50's on the GO bus downtown as well as a pair of Bowers & Wilkins P5 at the Yonge-Dundas corner, unbelievable lol.

Smells like product placement to me.  When people hear I bought $270 headphones, they ask "Are they Dr. Dre's?"  I say no, those are overpriced due to marketing, like Bose stereos or Dyson vacuums.  Sometimes I get asked "Are they wireless?"  I shake my head.

I saw a guy with a pair of Beats yesterday and introduced him to my m50s.  Apparently the bass wasn't strong enough and the sound was 'tingy.'

I would never use any open headphones in a noisy environment, so much sound would get in I'd have to turn my volume up so high just to hear the music which will probably damage my precious ears.

Today at school I saw this guy leaning his back and one leg against an oak  tree wearing some red beats by dre. Then some fly honey walked up to him asking to take a quick listen. After she was done she smiled and the two walked away together.

My friend got a pair of XB500s... They're ok, but the bass bump is ridiculous... ruins the music IMO
