Bicycle sighting at head-fi! great. Anyway, I saw im716 on the subway and looked hungrily at the lad's ear; he was uncomfortable, i could tell. The look very much like ibuds until you hit the ear, great design and he knew they were nice too. Smirk.

Saw 3 different people all with PX100s the other day. Also saw one guy on a bus with a very large pair of Sony headphones. Didn't spot the model.

I see SR-60's and LOTS of Sony MDR's, both black and white, around campus.

saw a guy with Sony MDRs on his head and a CD player strapped to his wrist in the post office the other day. not the kind of thing seen often in China.

people actually go out their way to get iBuds here in Beijing. they use em for every kind of portable player (iPods are for the rich and powerful, shuffles are a lot more common). sheeesh.

My first high-end (mid-end) headphone sighting! A Senn HD555 on the bus to college.

My rat shack cans (pro35a) are the best I have seen around my campus so far.

My friend makes some electronic and drum and bass music and uses a pair of colby headphones. I tell him that he needs a new pair all the time.

pretty lady w/ MDR-7506s (asked her

, says she works for Sony.)

i might have seen a guy on the bus w/ Shure E500s, but it looked like black E2cs. speaking of which i saw another E2c user on another bus.

Rarely see any decent headphones here in Finland apart from PortaPros which for some reason seem to be the most popular cans after iBuds. Maybe it's because the very active marketing from Koss (or Freerecordshop

)

Yesterday was different. I saw the following:
- E2C on some guy. Those look really big, btw
blink.gif

- 3 x PX100
- Senn HD477 & HD 25

and of course couple of Porta Pro's

I saw a girl wearing KOSS UR18's on the subway the other day. Other than that I saw the usual 3-4 PortaPros and a handful iBuds.

Found this in Frankfurt:

There were some other really high end stores, but it was very busy in them and my german isn't so good that I'd ask for an audition. Still, I was stunned to find this Stax lineup in one of them.

is it just me or are those stax cables melting behind the water heater?

but back on topic.

I saw a pair of HD 595's. Yes, here in little old Adelaide.
(for half those headfi-er's who don't know where I'm talking about, Google it)

I also saw some chick wear a set of Roland's. Don't know which model though.
