the guys at a73 thread are recomending to look at dunu dn-1000 for bass earphone. anyone can give any opinion on them for bass? will they do cinema kind of bass? bass that you hear when you watch a movie in cinema. i love xb90 with smsl sap-5 bass on bass amp, still wish it had about 25 percent more bass, other than that its funtastic.

90ex goes 1/4 the way for bass for me on its own, with bass amp it goes 3/4 for bass, so i guess 25 percent is about right. i think cayin c5 has more bass. but ye xb90 with bass amp is my favorite earphone. but not everyone wants the same amount of bass so, ymmv

futuresonics seems to be the way to go i feel. the A73 is too boomy.

what model? em a73 isnt even for bass people, its thin sounding, its very good earphone for those who want that. i still think that vsonic vsd3s bass edition is the best bass earphone out there without a bass amp. the bass on that one is a lot. but im not going to buy them again, im happy with xb90 with my bass amp, funny how cheaper stuff wins, im thinking to buy an open headphone without sound isolation whatsoever and put those speakers in headphone that has good sound isolation, i always get massive bass that way. plus bass amp, whah that would be awesome bass. im not really keen on spending a lot of money on audio anymore, it just doesnt work. i looked at some 10 euro bass earphones and they sound really off. im more into bass amps now, this is where i need to concentrate to find a bass amp that has a lot of bass, earphones alone dont do bass right, but if i get a good bass amp with a lot of bass that will give bass to any earphone. might start a new thread with bass amps that have the most bass and descent audio.

You might also want to include amps where you can swap opamps and buffers, as those effect the quality of the bass as well.

 e12 is 880mw @32 ohm
C5 is   800mw @32ohm
 
The C5 sounds louder despite the spec and the bass boost is larger on the C5. The presentation is wider on the C5.

I feel the dunnu 2k have better bass than fx850. Deeper and cleaner. Fx850 is too pesky in mid bass.

How does the Dunu D2000 compare to the D1000? I had the D1000 briefly and loved the build quality but it was miles from basshead worthy.
