Hi dear,
I'm so glad to hear from you, and thanks so much for your concerning.
Actually, we do not have the plan recently for the release of a new headphone, but we will keep going to improve the sound quality, structural integrity whatever it is at any cost.
So, patiently wait a period of time for the new headphone coming out.
Your patience will not let you down in the end.

When will the new revision (3.5? 4.0?) be in stock at Head-Direct for ordering?

Thanks!

This is in regards to the HE-400:

I have an idea, why doesn't HiFiMAN create an accessory ear pad set (perhaps name it: HiBASS?) that is thicker than the stock pads in order to space the driver a little bit more from my ear so I can enjoy the extra amount of bass that I hear when I pull the cans out from my head slightly.

I agree, Hifiman should make some thicker velour pads, that are also angled like the Audeze pads to give a more forward sound presentation.

No worries, budy. Since you didn't get the item directly from us, you can still get it repaired by us. However, you just need to pay a little for that repair or replacement.
We highly recommend replacement not repair just because the repair will take much more time.
If you can wait that long, we also can repair it for you.
Regards,

So i'll just bring it down to the local distributor of Hifiman which would be Jaben to have it replaced/repaired?

Hi dear,
We do not have that dealer. Actually, we do not have any dealer in France, but we do have some in Europe. Browse the website here http://hifiman.com/AboutUs/Dealer/ for more info.
If you get something from some dealer which is not cooperating with us, we cannot make the replacement or refund for you later (unless you pay for the extra warranty from us).
Is that clear?
Thanks for your inquiry.

I don't have any clue yet. Perhaps, we'll have that new revision later as you wish. However, we do have and only have 3 versions so far.
Thank you so much for concerning.

Good idea, thanks for your thoughtful mindstorm. Nevertheless, we still need to think it over for a better solution.
+1 for you...
