Hi, if I understood correctly the Sr-80 unamped will sound like a Sr-60, and (the SR-80) for his low impedance can be amped even with the most cheaps amps...

Is that?

I thinking in a Zune 2.0 and a Sr-80 or Sr-60, any thoughts?

Any thoughts at all, besides MS1?

I bought them like this from a fellow headfier, they were modded by ken at ALO audio. Just go to the ALO wesite to see what he has on offer.

i emailed aloaudio and they quoted $365 - OMG

that is way too pricey!

I honestly cant see myself upgrading to the RS2/RS1. I'm very happy with the 325i's at the moment and the modded SR-80 are a nice wee fun can for my portable rig.

I dont know as i bought them already modded. But if someone wants to lend me a pair of stock ones i'll happily do a comparison.

Oooh that is expensive. I wasnt too sure of their original price as there wasn't any listed on the website.
