Nah, $349.00US, which translates to $500.00Cdn. and then sales tax and a charge for crossing the border.
I will be looking at about $600.00, landed. Pretty affordable for a Canuck in this hobby. Coming in under my FiiO FT5's.
Today I had a short opportunity to talk to the person who took that photo… yes, there is something in development, but it’s not ready yet. No timeframe either — as expected
And no, there won’t be a Cardas cable included. Which I’d see as a positive, given how those are done…
I also mentioned that I’m „down to 5 Grados“, and John replied with „So few? What are you waiting for?“ I guess I’ll have to stock up…

I think I’d be keen for some more lows and a general well rounded improvement. I think what I love most about the SR80e I’ve got is vocals and mids. I think generally any of the X series might be up my alley but I’m thinking sr225x. I used to have a hemp and it was awesome.
I couldn’t live the cable as it was on my 325x’s…..it was much too rigid for my liking, as a fixed cable mind. So I got them mod’ed so they are now detachable, but still using the stock cable. Now I haven’t got it trying to pull the cans away from ears because I can twist the connectors for the cable to ‘fall flat’
I tried that a little but was worried about being too heavy handed and damaging the cable. They’re much easier to store though too with detachable cables

Never thought of this before, you are right, even the stock cable will be better with connectors.
I have the same problem with my RS2x, the cable was solded twisted, so it's always a little tense and bent when using it in the right position.
I can live with it, but it's a little annoying, a detail they could have paid attention, given the fact that it was quite expensive for me in my country.

Decided to try flats on my RS2e’s. Definitely a stronger bass response. I personally find the bass just as defined as with bowls. Also, I’m not hearing any change to the mids and the highs are definitely not less, just a little more round from the increased bass. Verdict is still out.
