Keep in mind that the original G pads cost 45$ you can get replicas on amazon for 10$ but i dont know the difference between the two beucase i didnt try the cheap ones. Also the Nyczaj pads are more comfortable than the G pads beucase they are soft and the G pads are hard, both are made out of foam. There are also L pads smaller than the G and the Nyczaj pads are almost the same size as these.

I heard people say that the knockoff/fake/replica G pads dont sound anything like the original ones but i cannot confirm that.

In terms of sound quality they are all better than the stock pads in my opinion, they all give a little bit extra sub bass and a little bit more soundstage.
I'd probably say G for pop and jazz and BA for rock L just great all rounder.

Now yes the G pads are expensive in my opinion grado is charging way more than what they should but others arent cheap too the BA pads cost 155$ + shipping (based on G pads) and the Nyczaj pads 65$, L pads 30$ the cheapest out of all.

I own the Nyczaj pads and Iam personally happy with them but the G pads will probably be the best for you.
Thanks for the advice! I won't be using it for a while, since I just got new headphones (MM-100s), and I want to try those out before I try any other headphones. I will keep this in mind though.

Maybe no shipping to Canada so is filtered out? Trying viewing link but without logging into your eBay account. The Sennheiser listings appear to use a
costlier shipping service.

Nope! It has a 6.3mm (TRS) Plug? This is a SR325is. Has the newer driver.
movinIron is correct. “is” was 325i but with e-series driver and plug. Can confirm e-series driver by looking at the back of the drivers through the cup grills, should see red colored driver magnets.

I've had my SR-325X for over a month. They are simply a pleasure to listen to. They are even better than my Focal Bathys, wireless OR wired, for half the price.

I run them with G pads, and comfort is excellent. The sound is so good, using a Fiio Q15, on ultra hi-gain, with Tidal and Apple Music with my iPhone15 Pro Max.

I always liked the 325e - favorite Grado in
my collection (at the time) other than RS1e and PS500e.

One of my all-time faves, in fact.

Some minor remorse at having sold them, but have since bought the 325x
which I like even more

Are there sound differences between the two? Or is it just the cable? Also what amp do you use with the them?

I lost a pair of grados today.
My brother gave my dad an iPod and he did not like the headphone that he had since 1970s(taped up and glued together) so I gave him my SR80.
He is made up with them love the sound and the lightness so we now have a new 87year old grado user.
Now this is awesome!

Question for GS3000x owners. Seriously considering upgrading from my RS1x. I am not looking for a TOTL headphone (I have an HD800s that fills that purpose), I just want to see if I can improve on the Grado signature sound that I have loved so much over the past 30 years. After reading numerous impressions and reviews, I am unclear if the GS3000x is the best current iteration of the "house" Grado sound or if it is something altogether different? I am not considering vintage Grado models at this time for various reasons. Any opinions for those that have owned or have had significant head time with the GS3000x would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Washed my L pads in shampoo and let them dry overnight. I didn't expect it to work so well. But it softened them right up. Seems to have lifted the bass a smidge too on my RS1X. Much more comfy. Highly recommend it if you find these pads uncomfortable.

What kind of shampoo? Lol.
Just hair shampoo. Just a dab. In water. Soak it for a minute. It softend it up a lot. It does kills the highs a bit and the stage. Lifts the bass. A lot more comfy. But tbh, I do miss the stage. So I think I'm gonna stick with some fresh L pads. Even if they're uncomfortable. But it's a nice trick if you can't stand how the pads feel. I figured, why not try it out. They're easily replaced, afterall lol.
