GH2 is a sure bet but scarce as it's a limited model. The Hemp is very popular, too.

Generally, 60x or 80x is a good start.hey how sr80x vs sr125x ? Worth the extra money?
Next would be Hemp or SR325x
If you listen to rock, the SR325x is the best $ value (also excellent bass)
However, the Hemp is seen by many as the best all rounder
Let the wars begin !
Buy yourself an SR60x so you can listen if the Grado sound suits your tastes--and listen to it for a long time before moving on to another model.Hello everyone!

Speaking of sr60x , is it true that the vintage sr60 with 'pink drivers' sounds better than the current model?

Grado headphones (or mostly all serious headphones) all sound great for someone. It's really hard to give good advice as we don't know your personal likes, your audio hardware and the music you want to listen to.
I mostly roamed Ebay and bought relatively cheap offers to get an impression how they do sound.

So you caught the 'Grado Virus'?

Yes, a bit I guess. I like the lightweight feel and the simple looks. So you caught the 'Grado Virus'?
Three of my four models have the same cable, the Button uses a much lighter cable. All of them much more comfortable than the newer cables used on the x series.
The Button has the lowest sensitivity, followed by the PS500. Hemp and GH2 are quite a bit louder, which makes comparisons more complicated.

Hi all! Just received my RS1x. This was an open box deal. My question is does the standard package include a plug-in adapter for use with a headphone amp. instead of the cables built-in mini plug?
I'll spend the weekend comparing the RS1x to my Hemps using my iFi Neo2 and Schiit Asgard 3 with TrueMultibit card. If I have time I'll also try it with my old PSA Audio GCHA and Musical Fidelity M1 DAC. So Tidal and Quobuz are
going to get a workout this weekend! Forgot to add Chord Mojo2 in the mix also!

Another visit by a friendly employee of the local postal services... Now there's four of them, with the GH2 still being my favorite, but the others showing rather different characters which makes switching between them quite interesting.
Oh, just saw it's a PS500 not 500e.
