No, nothing was pre-installed. These came with the standard black grado headband. I removed that headband and replaced with the Turbulent labs (dark green) headband you see in the photo.

It does not get a whole lot better than this: [Reprise: June, 2000.] Riding With The King. You must listen to this album; if you can, via RS-1x. You will be thrilled.
My first Grado was a 225e back in 2016 and enjoyed it for awhile then moved on to other headphones. Recently I returned to the "Grado family" with a modified RS2e with Turbulent Labs XL headband in coffee, detachable Hart Audio cables and Shipibo gimbals and rodblocks. Applying a little bit of EQ using ROON to lift up the bass and so far really liking the sound with the Geekria comfort foam pads. Awesome with jazz and classic rock through a Burson Soloist Mk1 and Topping e50 DAC.

Hi Grado friends - just listed a set of nyczaj audio (shipibo) gimbals and rodblocks of anyone’s needing some. These are black slim ceramic rodblocks on slim allumimum gimbals - look great but I sold the hemps I was going to put them on. Brand new, no wait, shipping paid in CONUS. Thanks
Add me to the Grado fan club. A week or so ago, to while away a few idle minutes, I dropped into my preferred hi-fi retailer and decided to do a quick demo of some open backed, wired headphones. I've been all about ANC wireless BT headphones for a while, as listen to a lot of music on my commute, and have been using closed back wired headphones (primarily Focal Elegia) for home listening. Long story short, I listened to a pair of Grado SR325x and was simply blown away. Now own a pair and am very pleased indeed with the purchase - cost me £229, which is a steal for such an excellent sounding pair of headphones.

That's a crazy price, I thought I was happy paying £269 for mine off Amazon. Be very careful though, these things are addictive and it wasn't long before I was looking at models further up the ladder
I was smitten with my SR325x but when I got the RS-1x they absolutely blew my socks off and they might as well be surgically attached to my ears because no way in hell are they coming off my head
