and the Oscar for the best design goes to...
Well, I bit the bullet and repurchased the Aviot TE-ZX1. I remember them fitting great so I decided to go with the Red Bebop version over the first PNK I tried a very long time ago. Okay, maybe I'm losing my mind but these sound waaaaay louder and have more punch than the PNK I had. Did they update them or something? @jant71 I think the app looks different. EQ is much better.

Should be easy to tell by the name. "SOUND ME" is being replaced by "CONNECT". Though it looks like the older SOUND ME has gotten updates including recently as a few weeks ago.

Definitely not the new CONNECT app. But it looks like the old one got a new finish and the EQ was upgraded.

Improvements are always appreciated! Not enough output can certainly lead to a disappointing performance. Glad they sound better this time around.

Maybe I am wrong but I thought the PNK had a different driver configuration.

Before buying the fiio utsw2025, I looked at buying the iFi Go Pod - No app with EQ was a deal breaker for me, especially as using an iPhone for a lot of the listening.
I find using EQ to be more of a hassle. hehe

YESSSS! Amadeus is finally landing—and the Wǔ Shī lions are ecstatic 🦁💃🔥

After what felt like 12 lunar cycles and a detour through the underworld of logistics, the earbuds have arrived. The lions are dancing. The skies are raining audio perfection. The wait is OVER.

Amadeus looked at the John and said: “It’s time, Maestro.”

I feel like the Go Pod simply has far more power and a cleaner background to work with - The Go Pods are pretty transparent for me, and the ability to swap connectors to suit different IEMs are a godsend.
The power was definitely a selling point with the Go Pod, but thankfully, using my Sennheiser IE300, that hasn't been an issue.
I have had to use a connector with my IE300, but that has worked without issue.

Sorry, that is an HQ question but I think more than likely. I am attending Can Jam Shanghai on the 14/15 and we will show them there.
Ok, thank you. I'll definitely be trying them if they're at London.
I was quite taken with some of your iems last year, although I can't remember which models exactly.

Same driver config different tuning by Pierre Nakano = PNK
Sad, I had them too, but can't remember. I know I didn't have the red ones.
