Getting "called-out" for not wearing the Beats

It's obvious you have so many typos, it's not that you suck at typing at all(I know you're not talking about this, but this is for the people that don't understand typing). Only a dumbbell would mistake this type of typing.

You're daft man! We would besmirch the audiophile community! (not one yet) but...saying it a different way then it'd be perfectly reasonable. Sorry mam, you just don't understand why I got these headphones, and to be frank, I know you wouldn't want to. If you would be so kind to compare headphones first-hand, THEN you can ask me why I didn't get the beats/bose/skullcandies.

I don't understand the main idea of what you are trying to say

Well a while back I was on the train and there were three guys talking about headphones because one of them had just gotten the beats (solos I think). And they were going on and on because they're amazing and such and nothing could possibly be better.

On the other side of them was someone wearing sennheisers silently laughing. Pretty sure he had an amp because they were full sized cans, but I couldn't see which phones exactly, might've been a 650. We exchanged shoulder shrugs when he saw me laughing too. Who says the train is boring...

Hmmm that reminds me of a time when I was sitting at a table in class and these group of people that were sitting with me. They were talking about how beats were the bomb and that you cant get anything better than beats when one of them said "I want to get them real bad" Then the others were like "Then get them they're the best" but he shook his head and said"Nah too much money" then they said "Get solos they're pretty expensive but worth the price" He turned and looked at me with a desperate face of not knowing what to say/do next. I just looked back and said "It's your money. Spend it wisely" So he just looked down at the floor and in a soft voice said "Too much money" I felt bad since they were pressuring him to get it.

If I'm even in a conversation when headphones come up, I'm not going to suppress speaking about the truth -- I just won't do it in a rude way. Of course I wouldn't burst into someone else's conversation, that's a different matter.

But for example an acquaintance once said "nice headphones" seeing my shiny metallic looking SRH940 in a computer lab, and asked if they're as good as Beats. I didn't hesitate to explain that even the beats pro is trash in comparison, obviously not rudely or anything.

That's good in my opinion. You didn't sugarcoat it.

But then there are those that take it offensively when you didn't mean it in any harm and set off like a bomb =/

Exactly, letting out the truth and your opinion is way better than saying, Your beats suck, you should not have bought it, you are just an ignorant person. That's too in your face kind of ctalk. But just saying what you think of the headphones themselves, is just a different thing all together.

Ok, I get the feeling my ghetto sarcasm went to waste. I wouldn't react like that in reality, I'm just not that outspoken. But I've seen a lot of people saying they got asked why they didn't get Beats instead of whatever they had on at the moment and they replied "they're too expensive", "they're not my style", "yeah, you know, whatever". Why not just say the truth? "I am a member of a headphones forum and they are pretty bad even for bassy headphones, basically they're overpriced". It's not rude, but it's not escaping the confrontation either. If someone insists just be a bigger person and ignore them, or instead ask them if they know what a frequency response graph is.

Amen! I tell people I am a member if a online headphone community, and it usually lets them know right away that I know what(usually) I am talking about. I have now become the go to guy amongst my friends when it comes to headphones.

You wouldn't believe how many times I would wanted to do that to someone, but since I'm in high school and the school in the area known for ignorant people, the moment I open my mouth and say something about frequency response graphs and related stuff they would quickly respond "WOW WHAT A FAGGOT" or"HA NO LIFE GET OFF THE COMPUTER AND PORN AND DO SOMETHING WITH YOUR LIFE" and I'm not kidding. The kids in my school can and will be cruel if you get into an argument or what they think is an argument with them. Its one of the reason why I dearly hate my school/town and want to move.

Then those people (who say that) are irrelevant to reality. In a few years they'll be living in their mom's basement while you're driving a [insert expensive vehicle].

I grew up in a small, poor town of ignorant drug addicted losers, and fortunately got out thanks to scholarships. Work/study hard, and you'll be out of there eventually moving on to bigger/better things.

That's pretty damn sad.  Just work hard and get yourself to a good university.  A lot more civilized unless you go to a party school.  Still a bunch of airheads here but more smart people.  Brosefs stick out like sore thumbs.  Don't get me started on the dumb girls.

When you have a wellr paying job, you don't take crap from idiots.
