Has anybody found a decent lightweight cable terminated in 4.4mm that'll work with the A3000 and A4000? Figure if my DAP has 4.4mm I might as well use it.

I honestly would recommend the Final C106 2-pin 4.4 but unfortunately, It’s quite pricey compared to the IEMs themselves. But you can find other CIEM 2-Pin cables out there that are cheaper.Has anybody found a decent lightweight cable terminated in 4.4mm that'll work with the A3000 and A4000? You can find the cable over on Audio46 but the 4.4 is currently out of stock. https://audio46.com/products/final-audio-c106-2-pin-silver-coated-cable
The one I’ve used on the A4000 was the PW Audio Monile which costs waaaay more than the IEM. But I already had the cable so it didn’t really matter much to me. At this point I think I have way more cables than IEMs haha
They look pretty sexy with the A4000 though
Good to know that the pw connectors work with the recessed connection on the a4000 at least. Of course the effect audio cable I got for my tia trios back in the day I special order with the flat 2 pin connectors so that cable won't work unfortunately. Shame because I love how lightweight that cable is. Maybe I'll just order that same cable with the right connectors for my a3000.

What about Tripowin c8? If I remember well it should fit a4000 with a little hack.
Probably could make it work but I'd prefer something thinner. Love how thin the stock cable is honestly. Goes well with how small and lightweight the iem itself is in my opinion. Looking to roughly match that stock cable bit with a 4.4mm termination.

Thanks for sharing. The A4000 is my fav daily driver since I paired it with L size Azla Sedna Earfit (regular ones not light or short). It greatly enhanced bass impact when I finally got a good fit. Unfortunately the Final Audio cable you shared a link for only comes in 2.5 mm balanced output now (not 4.4 mm) though not a big problem as I have 2.5 to 3.5 and 2.5 to 4.4 mm adapters- so it is probably worth it to me.I honestly would recommend the Final C106 2-pin 4.4 but unfortunately, It’s quite pricey compared to the IEMs themselves. If you don’t mind having to use adapters or just wait or contact audio46 to order you some if it’s possible that’ll be good too.
I like the feel and looks of their C106 cable.

I'm looking for a regular, non-balanced 3.5 replacement cable for my Final Audio a4000. I dont even hate the cable they came with. But, after spending thousands on IEMs, I've found my endgame, and I'll be heartbroken if this cable fails and I can't replace it.

I’ve been considering the Final C106 cable. Comes either 2.5 or 4.4 mm balanced or you can get 3.5 mm unbalanced. My pref would be to get 2.5 mm then use 2.5->3.5 mm or 2.5 ->4.4 mm adapters since either will work. It’s a bit pricey and you have to decide if you want silver plated copper.I'm looking for a regular, non-balanced 3.5 replacement cable for my Final Audio a4000. I probably won’t buy this immediately since I’m planning to get a replacement cable for my Empire Ears Legend X and will first try out the stock Effect Audio Ares II that came with the LX and see how the A4000 does with that.
It is important to get a cable that has ability to mate with a recessed 2-pin IEM slot- flat tops won’t work (I’ve tried). The C106 does have, naturally but I think the Effect Audio cables should also fit.
I agree that the A4000 is a pretty sweet set, especially for the price once you figure out the tips (using Azla Sedna Earfits on it which are perfect for me).
Something you don't see as much these days, the Piano Forte X. Paired with the Sony NW WM-1Z. Lovely listen.
