I am unable to remove the MMCX Connector from the E4000, no matter what I try: the MMCX removal tool, and the sticky plastic pad.
Not an issue with the E5000, it’s the easiest MMCX Removal I’ve ever.
Anyone here have the same issue as me?

Oh, and the A5000 seems so promising !!!

The E4000 were one of my first MMCX sets and they always popped in and out firmly but simply for me. I owned a pair recently too and had no issues. I'm sorry it's causing trouble, my experience from those two suggests that your set's level of firmness is unusual.

I will contact the seller for this issue. The problem is I bought the pair from Singapore and I’m not staying there.

Thank you very much!!

Woahh, a totally an unexpected experience, after a night and the next morning, I finally pull out the MMCX 😂

With E5000, I just use the MMCX Assist Tool and one click then it done!

With E4000, I need to widen the gap beetween cable & iem with assist tool (so difficult for a little gap), then use the hand and a little force to pull it out.

Perhaps the experience is way too different which make me feel like they are 2 iems from 2 different brands

The E1000 always brings a smile to my face, especially with less demanding genres. For someone who really enjoys the E1000, what's a logical upgrade path? It doesn't have to be a FA iem, just something that builds upon the E1000's strengths. Max budget of $300 or so, preferably looking for a dynamic driver.

If you don't mind a bit more sub and mid bass then E4000.

What aspect of the E1000 do you look to improve upon?

final is releasing a new flagship TWS, the ZE8000 ($329). My friend at final is sending me a sample for review, so I’ll post more info about it after I get my review unit. From what I’ve read, the ZE8000 will offer hi-res capability up to 24/96 since it uses Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon Sound technology.

Everytime I go back to the E5000 after some time off, I'm always pleasantly surprised at how large they sound, as well as the beautiful timbre and texture. Since I got these I have had very little desire to look to upgrade my universal IEM's.
