I just went and took a look at the cable on their site, but it’s using the standard 0.78 2-pin as well. It should fit just fine. I wonder why it doesn’t?

I don’t know but i can’t put it inside, i don’t want to force it too much… maybe i’ll try again. I’m waiting for a Satin Audio cable, i’ll try also with it.

Decided to measure the Final FI-BA-SS because this is one of the few IEMs which doesn't have a measurement (yet) on the most popular measurement databases. The clarity seems to be one of the byproducts of the 6KHz peak, though it's not as pronounced and doesn't get too fatiguing IMO. The lack of upper-treble is a bit disappointing but let's not forget that this is a 10 year old IEM and for a vented full-range single-BA, it has excellent bass extension.

Final was way ahead of their time indeed.

All of my usual 2-pin cables fit the A3k and A4k just fine.

I’ve tried the PW Audio Xerxes and Saladin, PW Audio x Empire Ears Stormbreaker (which is basically the 1960s), Effect Audio Ares II (with ConX) and the Cleopatra, and pictured below with the DHC Complement C. All without any need of cutting… I didn’t even know that was an issue.

Not much anymore unfortunately.

Film is just getting more and more costly getting processed and scanned.

I still have a few other film cameras that's just been sitting in a cabinet.

So might as well use them as props lol

My quick take on the Final F3100, an IEM that's polarizing. The bass in non-existent and the treble lacks extension. However, the mids are excellent. These require a deep fit, as stated in the review, otherwise you'll find the upper-mids too grating.

Hi everyone, i am gonna buy a Final type E eartip. But there are so many variants, with many colors... i read that the clear with red core is the new 2020 version, so how about the full clear (clear axis)? Are they the same? And how about blue, brown?

They're honestly all the same. The differences are all aesthetics unless you go for the TWS version which is shorter and have a wider bore.

I am not 100% sure but I don't think the clear with red core is the "new 2020" version. Final makes a lot of different color variations of the E tips, some are limited, some are exclusively available in the Final store in Tokyo. I don't think the clear with red core is replacing any existing color variations.
