Hi all, I had an E2000 from Amazon DE for less than a year, now one of the metal plate at the back is missing. I contacted Final through their contact form but didn’t receive an answer. Do you have any other communication channel with Final, or should I contact Amazon DE instead?

Can you still wear them like that? If so, is missing piece affecting the sound performance?

Hahah! I am glad you agree with me @NickL33. It was quite by accident that i decided to try it out. Now it’s the Sony Kimber Kable is permanently stuck on the A8000.

It add so much texture the only thing I miss from the Plato is that more sense of air and razor resolution. That being said Kimble Kamble is not far off from Plato for the price is bang.

How would the A3000 compare to the E3000 in terms of bass, mids and highs presence, and sense of grain?

A3000 coming my way from Hifiheadphones. About 100€ shipping and VAT included was too good to pass up.

I hovered over the VR3000 but I don’t have a VR headset and I prefer good, regular audio gear for gaming.
The A4000 wasn’t on sale, anyway I don’t like the idea of a flagship in a less refined iteration, plus the spike in the sibilance region and people complaining it pushes no bass… nope.

Ultimately my projected use case is plugged into a Qudelix-5K or into Null-Audio’s Nyx BT cable.
I will be a bit of a useless poster since I don’t have other Final iems, but I’ll be sure to try and give a qualified impression.

In the time it took me to post this I received my tracking number already!

It doesn't have a socket, it doesn't connect, it would need to elongate the ends of 2 pins. Probably someone has already done this, but I don't find anyone talking about..

Are you saying the pins on your cable are not exposed? If that’s the case, you probably have a qdc cable.
