Thanks for the really quick answer Pinky :) I dont have a gun.
I shall wait for your thorough review on the E5000... please compare in the review also the E5000 and the BE
One more quick question: is the bass of the E5000 tight and well textured, does it have enough subbass according to your taste?
Thanks
Lacas

There are a few models of Final that are being discontinued, 50% off HERE
Darn it! Been trying to find out if there is a way for me to review the Piano Forte and now 50% off the Piano Forte VIII... Why did I promise my wife I wouldn't spend anything on gear for coming months?!

They're great for classical :D
I know! I know! *drools* But my wife will make sure I have a "close encounter of the frying pan kind" if I go back on my promise so soon after buying the Phantom (which also work great for classical, especially with Ares II 8-wire :D ).

One day my friend, I shall hear these!

Was just listening to eml ritual by the chemical brothers on my pandora iv, jeez the combo of deep, a urate bass and the expansive sound stage really bring this track to life. Final really know how to make a can sound enjoyable.

I bet you do well at Wheel of Fortune. Better than me, at any rate. :D

I'm still inside the first hour of listening with the E5000, but so far really impressed. Many of you refer to a slight bass boost...so far, in some tracks, the low/sub bass is more powerful than my Xelentos. However, it doesn't seem bloated and it's quite well controlled. It is quite darker compared to Xelento and E3000 but i'm hoping it will change with the burn-in. I remember when i got the FI-BA-SST that it was quite dark the first 20-30 hours (and yes, i know is a BA driver, but it did change with the burn-in). It retains the airy character and separation from E3000, with more body. Let's see after 50 hours how it sounds...
One guy was asking about the differences with Heaven IV...To be honest, since i got the FI-BA-SST and E3000, i didn't feel the need to put them on. Keep in mind that for a long time i was in love with H4. With E5000 i think it does everything H4 does, and better. Great space, incomparable bass quality, and very very organic. I listen to a lot of classical music also, and E5000 i'm sure will be better for that.

Thanks for your answer. Waiting can be purchased here in Spain. That E5000 has to sound fantastic.

Quite impressive....because I kept googling urate and trying to figure where salt in urine crystals had any relevance

Could anyone say whether the E4000 would be a significant step up from a Visang R03 (Brainwavz M2)?

I've got the latter since a while now and am pretty satisfied with it (considering the price tag) but I'm wondering if buying the E4000 would be really worth the price (3 times the R03).
I'd be coupling it with basic sources (laptop front panel and smartphone), so I don't expect it to shine like my home rig obviously (ALO recabled T1 + Audio-gd DAC-19 with Norse Audio ACSS cables), but I'd be glad if I could have a fairly noticeable SQ improvement when using IEMs at work.
