Design-wise and money-wise, looks to be made for a Shiek. I'm guessing the price is around $4000, no?

Yep, but should barely sounds like $500-1000, I still haven't understand how they can sell non precious metal pieces at such price.

welcome to the audio world
Ouch, they're ugly. This must be the antithesis of the Bauhaus / Apple design approach.
I'm sure there can't be an acoustical reason for that surface finish, and wait until those dimples fill up with sweat and earwax...
I'm sure they will sound good, though (and, finally, detachable cables!).

If I was part of the royalties I would never look after it, but I would order an 18k solid gold PFX with my personal preferences on the tuning and a detachable cable as well

I like the idea. I just don't want to walk around in public with these things. I have a corporate job and use headphones on the commute. More low key please.

comparing Lab2 to FAD IX and XCC, I could not justify myself to buy Lab 2 from its appearance...

Tried the LAB 2 at Fujiya Avic. Unsure of the asking price.

It takes quite a lot before i will start calling something 'snake oil', but €3300 dynamic driver earphones with a fancy 3d printed exterior does it for me.

FAD shall release a successor to the Fibass with improved design, detachable cable, improvements in the SQ and sell it below $1500.
There's no need competing with some Layla 2 or KSE1500 at $3000+ with a simple dynamic driver and fancy housing
