Yes have reset but still the same. Have taken back to the shop I purchased from and they believe that it has something to do with some of the song names having brackets or symbols even though it is the same card unchanged I used for my x1 and the same files play no worries on all my other devices
I guess Fiio could confirm if use of brackets or symbols in the song names would cause a problem?

Hi,

Please try to clear the data of the FiiO Music app from system settings-General-Apps-FiiO Music app-store -clear data. Then restart the FiiO Music APP to check again first?

Did this and reloaded database. Once completed went to all music and it said there was none then started coming up unresponsive a couple times so went into settings and loaded again and is showing now but will have to wait till later for test.

Hi,

If the issue still remains, please click the device name option from settings-general-about device for several time, and continually tap“Model number" until ‘have save output log’showing up. Then please wait for about 20 seconds, and go to M6's internal storage, then send these two log files "M6-kernel-xx.log" and "M6-system-xx.log" to us for further analysis. You may need to restart the M6 for getting the log files.

I have tried as suggested and it is bringing up the message about the output log but cant find it on the storage.

1. Added grouping tracks by Album Artist category ;(You can select the Artist or Album Artist in the Settings->Artist List Display. This upgrade requires a database update, please scan for music again)
2. Added support for uninstalling the FiiO Music, ES File Manager, Gallery apps (now you can uninstall the embedded FiiO Music and install the standalone release version);
3. Miscellaneous bug fixes.

Is there any way to install Play Store?

Why would you want Google messing up the ecosystem?
The one and only reason is UAPP (USB Audio Player Pro) and i really wish there was another way of running the app.. I am not a fan of the google eco-system.

Have downloaded the zip file but cant install as it conflicts with the original. How do I delete the original app. Where do I get the firmware beta upgrade. Cheers

I bought the M6 recently. Do I need to upgrade to any firmware if the player has no problems?
