I guess Fiio could confirm if use of brackets or symbols in the song names would cause a problem?Yes have reset but still the same. Have taken back to the shop I purchased from and they believe that it has something to do with some of the song names having brackets or symbols even though it is the same card unchanged I used for my x1 and the same files play no worries on all my other devices

Please try to clear the data of the FiiO Music app from system settings-General-Apps-FiiO Music app-store -clear data. Then restart the FiiO Music APP to check again first?

Did this and reloaded database. Once completed went to all music and it said there was none then started coming up unresponsive a couple times so went into settings and loaded again and is showing now but will have to wait till later for test.

If the issue still remains, please click the device name option from settings-general-about device for several time, and continually tap“Model number" until ‘have save output log’showing up. Then please wait for about 20 seconds, and go to M6's internal storage, then send these two log files "M6-kernel-xx.log" and "M6-system-xx.log" to us for further analysis. You may need to restart the M6 for getting the log files.

Or you may try try update to this beta firmware(M6:fiio-file.fiio.net/M6-ota-20200403.zip ), then uninstall the emmbeded FiiO Music app, and use the standalone release version and check again:

The one and only reason is UAPP (USB Audio Player Pro) and i really wish there was another way of running the app.. I am not a fan of the google eco-system.Why would you want Google messing up the ecosystem?

That is for the stand alone music player which wont install as it conflicts with the original factory loaded app. I need the link for the beta firmware update to be able to delete the original appthere is a click here link on the above post for the beat FW
