Well I just got the fiio m11 pro and my main headphones is the westone w80 and I'm happy to report there is absolutely no hiss while using the player... Now I'm debating if its better then the cowon plenue 2

The eq on the cowon is obviously way better. I still don't know how to use the fiio :<
I'm praying you don't find it better... Because if so, I'm gonna be sick. And then my next paycheck is gonna magically float over into Fiio's hands. Damn...

looks like Fiio’s getting burned on Social Media for their remarks on M11 Pro sale on Amazon.

I have the 220 but struggle with battery life etc so may sell it but don't know if the M11 Pro is an upgrade or not
Fact , M11Pro has a better battery life and its UI is very fast.

Get rid of it. Super laggy, UI sucks, battery life is super low (they claim 8-9 hours but mine never lasted more than 5 hours even with just 16 /44.1 music playing). The sound is not impressive enough to compensate these flaws at all.

I took my decision. I won't buy any of the current generation DAPs cuz none of them are perfect enough, I will wait for the new releases such as Fiio M15 and Hiby R8 and choose the best one. Up to $1.5 k

I just think there is a fundamental problem with DAPs running any form of Android and then using steaming apps (especially when it comes to importing into Microsd cards). I’ve had Pioneer XDP100 and xdp300, Onkyo dpx1, hiby R6, Cayin n5ii, Fiio m11, fiio m11 Pro and now A&K KANN Cube. Problems with all of them. Android is just unadulterated rubbish. Absolutely no problems with Tidal and Qobuz apps on iOS.

Let’s face it, every DAP is going to have ‘issues’. For some it’s as simple as price (too expensive), for others it’s battery, UI, software support, Wi-Fi, BT, input and output options, EM interference... you name it, one or other DAP has it. Up to each of us to decide which combination of pros and cons we can best live with, for the price we can afford, and the sound that most appeals.
