Hmm .. less power balanced output, reduced battery life when listening to music, one slot for a memory card ... If the sound is a level better, I can probably buy it, if not, then I don’t see the point in the acquisition.
Dear friend,

The balanced output power in this form is for trial production version. In official version, the balanced output power is 550mW. The battery capacity of M11pro is 4370mA while M11 is 3800mA instead. However, the DAC chip AK4497 takes more power so the battery life of M11pro is shorter .

Best regards

I guess it is a compromise between having good battery life and having access to the THX chip...unless sound quality is going to be a huge improvement, does not seem to be a worthy upgrade if you already have a M11.

Hello,

I have a SanDisk 128 GB usb drive (it is a combo drive with normal usb connector and usb c), and I am unable to mount it to Fiio M11. It shows me that mount is failed, and only way to "fix" it is to format it. Format is completed, but mount is still failed. This usb drive works well on my OnePlus 6, or other devices. Any sugesstions? Fiio, please help. Could be some issue with software? Or OTG memory devices are not supported by M11?

I’ve had similar issues. Can’t get any OTG drives to work.

@WianFiiO and @FiiO, please check this issue. I've bought this stick especially for moving music from / to my M11 and I am unable to do this due to this issue.

Yes I do. Device sees my disk but cannot mount it. After connecting usb device to M11, notification appears with text:

Mount failed SanDisk USB drive
SanDisk USB drive is mount failed. Tap to fix.

After opening this notification there is a screen with information, that my drive needs to be formated as portable storage. After pressing button Erase & Format, screen with information that format is in progress appears, and when format is done (?), screen with information that SanDisk USB drive is ready. In this moment, mentioned notification appears again.

I tryies to format my device on a Windows 10 to NTFS format, but device is still not available on M11. There is also exFAT format, but as far as I know it is not supported by Android.

Not with my M11 but yes with my X7ii. Left it alone for a few days. Didnt touch it and weirdly it began charging again. Same symptom screen lit for a second giving hope then went blank.
Yes, mine has starting charging again but all is not right as it goes through weird blue screen phase before coming on and also when you put in the USB power it does not immediately show the charging icon. I will try a factory reset I suppose.

I am not an expert but I think the M11 will only take the current it wants and just because the charger is rated higher it doesn't mean it will force that power into it.
I stand to be corrected though
Paul

Totally right buddy I just like to play it safe :)

Hello
I have an issue with My M11
Lately its been connected to a Fiio E18Kunlun and when I power off and shut down the M11 Reboots and is in a Bootloop until I hold power and Play and then It boots into the Player, But When I'm Not plugged into the Kunlun via USB it powers off, I assume it's the Amp..... What if any are my Options, Fiio can't answer because they are on Holiday...... Anyone here have issues with this
