Also, has anyone experienced how to import playlists? I read somewhere on this forum that they all have to be edited beforehand or the M11 will not find the music. Is this the case?
I haven't tried the M11 yet, but I suspect it works like every other Fiio. If so, try this:
1. Export playlist in .m3u8 format (I think M3U will work as well).
2. Open Exported playlist in notepad.
3. Press enter at the top to create an extra line, and paste: #EXTM3U
4. You will need to change the pathing of your playlist to match the path of the MicroSD's on your M11. If you are only using 1 MicroSD this will be simple. If you are using 2 MicroSD's, however, you will need to change both paths to match the MicroSD card. Just use the "find replace" function in notepad to do this, replacing all unique portions of the path with their new path on the Fiio player. If your playlist spans 2 microsd's you will need to divide your music collection into two folders on your PC, and create your playlists like that. Then transfer those folders to your SD's, maintaining the exact same folder structure, otherwise SD spanning playlists won't work.
5. Do a "find and replace" and replace all \ with / .
6. Save and place anywhere on your Fiio. To play the playlist, just navigate to it and select it.
As a sample, this is what it should look like before you format:
D:\music\FLAC Archive\tf2\Low Anthem, The\2009 - Oh My God, Charlie Darwin\01 - Charlie Darwin.flac
D:\music\FLAC Archive\tf2\Low Anthem, The\2009 - Oh My God, Charlie Darwin\02 - To Ohio.flac

You don't need the "tf1" folder, those are just my way of distinguishing between the files meant for different SD cards.
This is what I have always done, but it's from the x5iii, so the paths could be different. I think it might be possible to use relative pathing as long as the playlist is placed in the root directory of the SD on which the music it lists is contained, but I have dual cards so this has never worked for me. If you have dual cards, you will have to edit the paths to include the full SD locations.
