My custom Rolands arrived. The body is a lot smaller than expected. Though, I wish they had made my stem longer. Though the current stem size is good for longer wearing sessions.

Here you go.

How's the fit? Mulling over a pair of either 6rui's or an 8 pro or freedom (though I doubt I'll do it). Got a set of digital scans so can just email them over if I want to.

What are digital scans? That sounds convenient. Do I send custom molds somewhere?

The fit will not fall out if I shake my head. They are very comfortable and not itchy Feely. But the seal isn't as isolating as my old silicone customs.

The Rolands play off my phone just as clear as off my Hiby R6 Pro 3.5mm output. No hiss at all. Maybe there is some hope to run them of the Trn B20s Bluetooth modules.

Digital scans are exactly that. Scans made of your impressions when they did them. MOST (not all) companies are doing 3-d print (64-audio do, empire ears do not as an example)so will accept them. If you ask Fearless nicely enough they may send a copy of the.stl files over. Then the next time you place an order with a company that uses 3-d print (check first before ordering!) you will be able to send them via email instead of postal.

Enjoy.

does anyone in this thread have any experience with Queen Audio products (qm20, qm50, qm80)? BGGAR did a review on the qm50 and 80 and really liked them, and the only other review i've seen compared them favorably to fearless audio

Using the Trn B20s modules, these things fit and sound great. Without the weight of a cable, the fit is much better for me.

Though with a sensitivity of 111, there is a minimal hiss. But that is expected with such crazy high sensitivity. Though on my phone there was no hiss.

They add a warm tonality, that makes them sound better.

Did you send them your impressions or a file? I sent impressions, they scanned and sent me the file, and the fit is almost too good...

IMG_20191112_070213.jpg IMG_20191112_070203.jpg IMG_20191112_070156.jpg I had sent impressions. Didn't know files could be kept for such things. Maybe I should ask Linsoul to forward a request to Fearless for me.

These won't fall out and hold in place well, but they don't create an isolating seal for me either.

Wild! How close are they to the impressions? Mine were done by an audiologist and were, um, fairly uncomfortable, but came out SUPER accurate.

Hey, fun! We're only an hour from each other :)

The stem seems wide, but that goes inside no problem. The body is very accurate.

If you feel like that's still some gaps between the seal or feel like there some air. I think you should make a new impression. Have you use the bite block when you did the impression ? (must bite it before they put the silicone into your ears)
My audiologist told me to bite it after they put the silicone in .... and that's make me to do the refit. I think they used to do an impression for hearing aid more than custom in-ear audio monitor.

Bite blocks are common and most companies like 64 Audio, JH Audio, etc, suggest using a bite block while taking ear impressions. Though generally it is recommended more for singers and performing artists because the ear canal flexes and changes shape when you open your mouth to sing, chew, etc, and custom shells with closed mouth impression can come loose, loosing the snug fit resulting in imperfect FR transmission, mainly loss of lower frequency spectrum presence.

Bite blocks allow for an averaging snug fit with all kinds of jaw movement, closed, open or chewing but if you're sure that you don't generally open your mouth while listening to music or to sing along to the music, go for custom shells with closed mouth impressions.

Hope this help. Cheers! :D
