When I am ready I will go... but until then, as long as you are here making ignorant, inaccurate statements you are stuck with me. I think from what I have heard the EVO will rock many a folks world. If you haven't heard it, I am sure you will.I thought you were going away? Changed your mind?

cannot wait for more in depth EVO impressions, more details incoming this Friday which is awesome!
Trying to meet my savings goal this year, but the EVO might cause a slight change in plans....
(also pro tip: best way to counter an internet troll is to ignore it)
unfortuntely we can't ignore ourselves...ah well, c'est la vie.

Does anybody already know in which regards Evo stands out? Being an LX successor I guess it will have great bass but what about the rest? If it is a „love child“ of Odin & LX, what will be better - and maybe even more importantly, what will be sacrificed from both parents?
Looking forward to the reviews (and re-reviews) of the IEM veterans to see how it will do but for the time being I will not plan to let go of my LX. In the past 10 years I’ve seen too many hype trains come and go at headfi

i expect EVO to cost 2799 or 2899
one of these should do the trick , no way (it is a huge psychological minus) it is over 3000
but 2699 seems too low
so probably 2899

Agreed on the psychological barrier. I assume they will want leverage the hype while staying under that limit, hence 2999... If they want more distance from 3k, yeah it could be 2899.. This speculation is pointless of course... but it's fun so what the heck.i expect EVO to cost 2799 or 2899

Mate i just promised myself not to spend much over 1k on iems. If evo went at 2599. Im pretty sure my promise would be as good as sheet of paper towel..Don’t say too low!!!
2599 for me.

2599 is too close to Legend , again there is a psychological barrier that needs to be addressed with the evo price regarding it being a new improved Legend
so it's gonna cost more than Legend but not that close
between Legend's 2300 and Odin's 3200 , 2800-2900 seems like the perfect midpoint
now if Jack costs it around 2500$ he will probably sell 3 millions EVOs and retire for good
and we don't want that , do we ?

Agree, and at that price I think EE are going to make a real statement about value pricing for TOTL IEMs with TOTL accessories compared to some of their $4K and $5K brethren.2599 is too close to Legend , again there is a psychological barrier that needs to be addressed with the evo price regarding it being a new improved Legend

Talking about accessories. How much do we know about cable? Who makes it? Something specially made for Evo or just rebrand of existing model? Cost?
We know it's a PW Audio cable, but more than that we don't know much. Looks like a 4-wire cable from the early pics I've seen.Talking about accessories. How much do we know about cable? Who makes it? Something specially made for Evo or just rebrand of existing model? Cost?

If he does that, then he'll simply have to make "one" more IEM before his last hooray.
