Considering the LX is $2300 and being that EVO has additional R&D, additional driver tech, much better cable, 4.4 mm… I’d venture to say $2700 is a bit low.

Plus whatever other new or different accessories that may be coming with.

I don't think the cost is what the EVO will be priced based on. I think it will be priced to the market. It will be priced in the market as a new and improved LX. If they think they can get uptake from their dealers at $2999, they will price it there. If they don't think they can get sufficient volume at that price, they will reduce it.

7 series is the flagship despite the lower number (and lower entry price). But yes, 3 series is definitely the most popular one.

The Legend X just has that special something in it's signature that really clicks with me. I love the sound it delivers.

Mines not going anywhere, it's in my daily rotation as one of my top 2.

I agree. I was using the IE800s today and just listened to the tunes.
BTW… for those struggling with Odin mids, please just hang in with the burn in. They become a fantastic detail iem with outstanding bass kick.

I'm glad it worked for you. I listened to my ex Odin recently, after a few months with the next owner, and it still sounded the same to me.

That said, I'm listening to Focal headphones again, which I previously found too forward, so there's hope for me yet... I will receive a Utopia on Monday, which will be a good test in that regard, as it's considered shouty by some.

The IE 800 was a great IEM, very enjoyable, but the IE 900 surpasses it on every metric.
