You don't f find them on the designer. Needed to email them, describe exactly what I wanted. Their customer service is amazing (kudos to Devon and Jack). I made this after seeing personally the Japan special edition gold, but didn't like the translucent shell. I also wanted the contrast. So gold on silver and silver on gold and Onix black shell. Turner out amazing.

How is the hiss?

I'm probably not the right person to ask about hiss as I am over 50 and cannot hear treble like I used to. However, no problem with hiss on my WM1a, H2, Calyx M, iPhone, or Burson Playmate at 2 watts. The Valkyrie is surprising black in background even with its smaller soundstage offering a lot of transparency so I am guessing that the hiss would stand out if there was some. I am guessing that the lower sensitivity helps keep the hiss away.

I don't know much about it yet but I just ordered a ifi hip dac. The feedback has been good so far. For the price it may be worth a look.

itsfit have reshelled Zeus's before, but only the Massdrop ones as far as I'm aware. I'd advise you to ask whether or not they'd be able to do the XRA, but - knowing their capabilities - I'm sure they'd be able to pull it off: https://itsfitlab.com/

I was always curious whether possible to get cheap used universal, and turn it into custom...

Customs reshelled. I can't really see why you couldn't reshell universals, but customs tend to go cheaper than universals anyway, because of the cost/hassle in reshelling them.

Let us know what you think of this combo. Used to have Zeus XIV with it, synergy was good but never found it to be end game.
Much preferred pairing it with a bit of gold.

I should have Lionheart back next month which is gold/silver-plated copper....I really liked it with Zeus so impressions to follow there too.
