Listening to Legend X after a long time listening to Tia Trio and Phantom. It feels great listening to the king of bass again! It sounds so great on music with little bass too.

I know the answer lies within the thread, but that's a lot to go through. Anyway, I currently have the Zeus-R and Legend X's and wondered if I should try out the Wraith as well, or go another route, to replace my recently sold U18t's?

I love the dynamics of going between the Legend and the u12t, the legends sound is so luscious and that bass just rattles your brain.

Does anyone have their carbon face plate on the EE custom? I'm curious what it looks like. I ordered it for my Valkyrie.

FYI, I asked EA directly if the EE branded cables feature the PSquared plugs and they told me none of them do. This is consistent with all of the Premium series where PSquared is an upgrade option. However, I was hoping that the Cleo cable that comes with Wraith was the same as their retail which has PSquared plugs as standard. Turns out, the EE branded Cleo has the same standard plugs as the Premium series.

This probably doesn't affect most folks, but Wraith owners/buyers should take note.

I don't; best I can do is a badly-angled, glared-up picture from when I visited :)

Some pics from searching (of both CF colors)

Wow nice! I think I made the right choice. I got the black carbon. I like the larger weave. It gives more depth.

Question for the group...I have an LX and am curious about the Valkyrie because of its electrostatic driver.
My questions are:
-for those that have listened to both the LX and the Valkyrie, are differences between the two big enough to warrant having both?
-I noticed the Valkyrie isn't particularly sensitive and so I'm a bit concerned that my Cobalt will struggle to power them (Valkyrie rated at 96 db; for a comparison point, the DCA Aeon 2 closed back is rated at 92 db and the Cobalt could not drive - I tried!)
Thank you!

The Valkyrie is brighter and more detailed to me and less mid range versus the LX. I didn't listen to it long but I felt like there is more sub bass on the Valk. I used it out of a Hugo and there were no issues driving it.

The feedback is pretty consistent that the Valkyrie needs a good and powerful source. One review really liked it out of the WA11.

Edit: My time was limited with the Valkyrie. I'm waiting for my custom now. If someone has more, better or accurate info, please chime in.

I can't comment on the sound, but the dB difference there is a 32% difference in volume level (namely, 96dB vs. 92dB sensitivity, all other things equal, would be 32% louder). The Valk is also lower impedance, and I would imagine that IEMs would need a lower overall volume level? But it never hurts to have more power :).
