A)cable not cov by warranty
b)cant do rem cable
c)can only replace with the sh!tty stock cable with the short y split and it will cost 30eur and take 1w(i presume all ex-shpg)

i hope a rabid bear sexually assaults them. Very mature, i know...

That stinks man... sorry to hear that. Sorta makes you think twice about buying from them anymore until they develop a removable cable, or update their warranty service. Not very good CS at this point. I'm going to baby my SM3s for sure knowing this!

Well, I honestly think you were expecting too much. But the fact that the cable isn't covered is very disappointing.

i sent them another email asking whether they can at least make the ysplit longer, but i doubt it.
Yea pretty crap cs or wty there. For now i hope the prod design and or acq(as in oi look we can get the batch of incorrectly cut cable 2nds from westone for .5 price)depts hang themselves on the spare stock cables. too short, uncomf and prone to stress and tugging

Just got mine, cable too short at the y-splitter, other than that, perfect fit with the double-flange tips.  Why so short to the y-split?  I guess you can't have everything, lol.  Dang these sound so sweet.  Bye bye TF10's!

I think that's fair.  Now that I recall, using the Meelec Biflanges the upper bass on up was neither thin nor rich to my ears on the RE0.  The lack of low end was what stood out most and that was using my Gumstick which puts out a decent amount of power relative to something like the Clip+.  I actually AB'd the ER4S w/ the RE0 and the ER4S had the better balance and low end despite being thinner.  The ER4S actually blew the RE0 out of the water in the low-end for the most part.  I would take the texture of the RE0 over the 530 myself w/o question.  The 530 was the most textureless, sterile sounding IEM I've heard which for me was somethin I couldn't get past.  I see why people like it though, just not my thing.

As for amping the SM3 I never really got much improvement on them even though I tend to prefer amping most everything I have.  They scaled least for me compared to most everything I've tried.  I guess if I ever get the chance I should give them another listen.

Really? That's odd. I thought SE530 has excellent texture - very similar to ER4 in this regard. RE0 was the least textured of the three to my ears. I agree that the ER4 beats RE0 in the bass quite easily. RE0 wins in the treble by a small margin. Mids are more realistic on ER4, but RE0 sounds warmer and smoother and can be more musical for certain music genres, like smooth jazz for example. I do prefer the ER4S over RE0 overall and I agree that the Etys are overall more balanced and complete sounding.

SE530 is somewhere in between RE0 and ER4 IMO. It has similar smoothness to RE0 in the mids and is similarly full sounding. However, in regards to dynamics, texture, bass, highs and overall tone, SE530 is closer to ER4.

SM3 sounds like something between SE530 and ER4. It is smoother, fuller and warmer than the latter, but a bit less dynamic and not quite as liquid and mid centric as the former.

That sucks...sounds like time for a reshell.  I don't think you will be disappointed except that you had to spend extra $.
