I think Kozee will do a reshell for $90 + $30 for the cable, not including shipping.

well, it would help if they actually replied to emails... since they didn't I went with UM. Getting impressions done next week.

hmmm, well, they replied, but 4 days isn't really a great response time. Still, they do offer a much more economic solution, especially if the end result quality is comparable.

I am still waiting for my TF10 reshell, so I can't vouch for the quality yet, but Adam seems like he knows what he is doing and is concerned about making a high quality final product.

Just wanted to report that I bought a set of 5 replacement silicon tips straight from Earsonics. They just arrived, and I can immediately tell that they're different than the ones that came in the box. Look for yourselves. They sound noticeably better. No treble roll-off and increased instrument separation. Wow... I didn't think these things could get any better, but they just did.

old on left, new on right. MUCH wider hole for sound waves. YAY!

ahem those are the Earsonics and not Sensorcom tips I believe (the latter are white). Anyways, I think I got both of those biflange tips on my pair (perhaps they're doing this for new batches?), but I prefer my modded M6 Triflanges.

I know that. I was implying though that they look eerily similar to the sensorcoms. ;)

Hmm that's interesting. My SM3s are from October and they seem to have come with the newer tips that you just received. Do you have a clearer picture comparing the two tips?

now that you mentioned it my SM3s sound a bit different since the return from RMA, I think the holes are bigger with the newer bi-flange tips but mine are loose and can get stuck to my ears when removing them. I think the treble improved a bit compared to when I had them last year. Also when I got the replacement SM3s the filters were a bit protruding so i pushed them all the way back.

Anyone got their SM3s re-shelled yet? I wonder if the treble will improve, just a bit more and I'll be satisfied with them...
