Does 2.4 still have the same bug in 2.3 whereby when an MP3 file is played, if one goes to

My Music > find MP3 file in a directory...
Pause current song
Delete the MP3 file
Un-pause the music
Press Home icon to get back to player screen
The player will now show the song ID of the next song while still playing the current song!

The only way to clear this error and to get the correct song ID in the player is to go
My Music > Now Playing...

Just wanted to report that my DX 90 works like a charm with Lurker's FW 2.4.0 as USB DAC and Windows 10. I had massive problems getting it to work on the very same machine and Windows 8/8.1 with earlier Firmwares and gave up completely.

Today I tried again. Installed the USB DAC v1.1 drivers in Win10, connected the DX90 in DAC (Windows) mode and it just worked.

Thanks go out to iBasso, Lurker and maybe Microsoft.:)

Unfortunately there's too many bugs with 2.4.
Why not to list them all, with steps to reproduce? Instead, your post is, say, ... not informative, to be polite.

  Describe your personal experience.
Without the list of "too many bugs" you looks like a troll.

Agreed. I've experienced the complete opposite.
As in ZERO bugs. No charging bug, playback is fine, sound is improved.
Also consider posting what you have tried to correct the issues, did you do a factory reset before and after the firmware update? Have you used iBasso's reset tool thing?

Only you can prevent trolls.

Guys, relax.

He wasn't bashing the DX, merely saying the latest firmware is too buggy. That's clearly not the case for everyone, but it's hardly trolling.

I haven't updated yet because I'm reading about too many issues with it too. I'm a late adopter - if it works I don't mess with it until you blokes have sorted it all out for me. :D

Great news!so far with latest fw I only experienced sometimes random fast reboots when changing files in ''all music'' and folder view. If number of track/total tracks could be added, it would be really good. It's the only thing I miss on interface.

Same here.Never wanted to install it as dac, just tried right now, installation went straight.
I don't know, since now I haven't got the time to try, if volume is changed by windows panel or by dx90 buttons

Mmhh, just trying, any volume higher than zero on windows doesn't affect dx90 output level, so only dx90 volume works.
Another thing:even if volume is the same, it sounds louder as dap than usb dac. Why?
And last but not least, sound seems different, I mean clearer as usb dac than dap. Maybe because the processor of the pc does the big work of converting flac on the fly? Or maybe it's just me
