Hi everybody!

I'm a little late to the game, having just received my DX220 and Amp8 module to go with it. I have read the thread but am a little confused when some posts mention a "DX229" or "DX228".
Is that supposed to be a shorthand way of saying a DX220 with different amp module numbers being the last digit? For example, when I put the Amp8 on mine, would I call it a "DX228"?
I'd appreciate any clarification you can provide! Looking forward to trying these out!

Cheers and All the Best!:beerchug:

Hi. Welcome...

Yes, what ur explained is right.
So like mine, DX221mk2.. so DX220 with Amp1 Mk2
don't forget to burn in, because it's true for DX220

Hi. I am a DX229 user. I am trying to revert to the previous firmware. I liked June 16th better. I have downloaded V.1.12 and tried to do a normal update, but the system won't let me do it. It says that the version is older than the current firmware and then it sends me to the Android menu. Any ideas? Thx.

You should flash the original ROM using AndroidTool which is downloadable at the first page, then update normally using the June 16th version.

To return to the stock firmware, just get the zip file into the internal storage and use the settings > software update tool. Very simple

Returning to stock firmware is same as updating stock firmware.

Thank you for the info! I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.
Yes, I will definitely burn the DX220 in with both amp modules.

Greetings, what are some of ya'll using other than Android File Transfer to get files over from a Mac to the DX220? I'm getting "Can't Access Device Storage", "Could not connect to device", Can't access device storage" On some odd occasions I'm able to transfer files over but it's mainly hit and miss. More misses than hits though. LOL.

Shouldn't the tubes in Amp9 be lit upon power up?

Now Tidal is dropping with network errors about 15 or so minutes in. Gawd!
