Allison Moorer. Ya, she has one of the sweetest voices there is.
I have all the albums from both of them.
Thanks! I’ll check her out.

This is insidious  during the night. It is beautiful to look at, and sound good but kinda hard to find a good pairing with. I enjoy low-gain with IER-Z1R though and in MangoOS.

Fitear EST... the Vocal become fluid...
Some headphone with impedance <100 Ohm... and not too sensitive ... was quite good...

that Z1r is one of the very Good one..

I've never used Mango player since I used the Neutron player. Today I just used Mango to see if it manages the battery better
but now I understand what 'hiss' people were talking about. The hiss from the Mango player was much noticeable with Amp9.
Just realized the Neutron brings down to hiss much lower to acceptable level (which I never realized).

@dhc0329 What's the difference in battery management?
I came to the conclusion that regardless of the type of headphone and gain mode, my DX220 consumes an average of ~ 15% (13%-18%) per hour. Night: from 00:00 to 8:00 - 5%, with WiFi on.
ps I spent 5 discharge cycles from 100% to 2%. And the result was about the same - 5-6 hours.

Installed Neutron, for me, still hiss, but quite manageable, similar like UAPP...

anyway... was continue to get more power...

Share notes: Pairing with ifi DAC/AMP via USB, Hiby apps will be the player that suitable at DX220, other apps like UAPP, Mango Player etc create static hiss, which quite random & quite annoying...

As mention above... pairing DX220 to ifi micro iDSD to Elear, makes elear full of energy and detail, even in mid bass level, really eye opening for me...

Turn Wifi off when you don’t need it, also Bluetooth off and Airplane mode on.
From my impression it makes a difference.

On screen time makes also a noticeable difference, try to keep this as short as possible.
Personally i turned the display brightness to the minimum, that’s sufficiant for me.

!!! How does your Clear sound out of your DX220 ?
I have Clear and Elegia. I listen to them out of MY DX220 AMP1's 3.5mm or AMP8's 4.4mm port. Either way I am not a fan of the sound. The sound is somewhat dirty.
