There are 3 different Fidelizer mods for the AMP units and 2 mods for the DX220, please specify what ones you’re talking about when mentioning his mod.

I am sorry I cannot provide further details as they never mentioned about having 3 different types. All I know at this point is that ampexfe started to sound awesome.

$99 or $199 or $350?

The EXFE mod isn’t a Fidelizer mod, it's a whole different mod from what Fidelizer does

I believe it was the fidelizer signature mod for $199.95 which was amp8 mod only.

I have the signature mod of his, but this XEFE mod is coming up well so far. Fidelizer mod to me seemed a bit warm, this one is not so far.

Understood but like I said EXFE didn't sound impressive comparing to Fidelizer mod initially but after the burn-in, it is different story now.
Very impressed by the clear imaging of EXFE.

I don't know what the Hiby R6 is, but I had the M11 Pro. The Dx220 is simply from another world in terms of sound. The only thing the M11 Pro is superior to is the UI and power conservation mode. As sound, I'm not even close. That guy, Bad Guy Good Audio Reviews, probably has a problem with his ears, or he can only listen to 2Pac.

Based on my exp, R6 Pro will be a bit brighter then DX221mk2, both are quite same reference monitoring sound but different tonality.
I like the tonality of old R6, but the OI is damn High, it makes my IEM Bass suffer...
R6 Pro power and PEQ will be good considerations, aside UI like smartphone feeling.
but AMP8EX-FE will be a higher level, even with only 50 hours Burn in


M11Pro, well at last, the Fiio that didn't Hiss too much... hope M15 also.... SQ wise, I agreed with Filip, still not comparable with DX221Mk2.
and make AMP8EX-FE really in different realm, No joke...

The DX220 both with the AMP Fidelizer mod and the AMP8-EXFE mod sounds so damn good, thankfully both sound a bit different in nuances, so I'll be keeping them both.

Both are modified amp with invasive procedures. Both come from different people with different preferences of doing things
