Fiio still have until iBasso level .... I bought dx220 after returning a M11 Pro.

But new UI of Fiio ist amazing,fast and responsive.

Oh my Gawd...that is even faster than Smartphones developments. I love the hardware Fiio have. Do they even invest into the Operation System ? Like Ibasso does or are they all crazy over Custom Android still ? They claim to have PCM into DSD too! That means they do have FPGA based converter in which they did show as 3rd gen.

one of the reason I love Ibasso is the Mango! Mangooooo!

They have the Pure mode in M15, i am interested if it gets good reviews. They have certainly priced it higher this time 1300 USD.

Took Ibasso a very long time to bring MangoOS into acceptable performances, and then becoming much better over time. The best of Mango started somewhere when Dx200Ti got released and transitioning into the release of Dx220. But what is M15 dedicated OS ?

It's Android, with the ability to switch between normal Android and Pure Mode. I am actually loving the new design, it sure has powerful specs. Native DSD 512 decoding, Exynos 7872, dual AK4499.

What makes me more interested is the large output power thru the balanced mode.

AK4499EQ is on the same tier as ES9038Pro btw...may want to look at KANN Cube again....but nvm...that ribbon cables...omg

Haha I think so, KANN Cube came to my mind too, not sure if it fully decodes MQA though! Apparently there's the 2nd gen ALL to DSD now! Better to let people test it first. The only FIIO dap I had was X5 2nd gen and I stopped using it after a week. Wasn't my sound signature, but lot has changed since then i guess.

I think it does till DSD 128, i doubt any DAP can do it on the fly more than that with the CPU power they use. Neutron in my DX220 can't go more than DSD64.

Anyway it is exciting nonetheless, I am waiting for DX220Max now, I could use a transportable more than portable. Still burning in AMP8-EXFE, and just listened to 10 mins in between, loving it so far and quite happy with DX220.

The list is going on Fiio might come up to M17 and M17 Pro by the end of next year who knows!
