I think to avoid confusion, it is better to call it Dx22-8EX, and that is regular Dx220+8EX

Aye Aye Captain...

Just want to check the Sound, not even 24 hour... hehehe

I really don't have the detail but from what I have been told upgrade will include clock modules and capacitors upgrade with some
circuit tweaks applied. They said it will be fully compatible with Amp8EXFE.

lol that guy is too funny.

Happy Listening to everyone who just entered the EX zone!!

well well, yesterday i bought a dx220 i am one of you ... is the sound quality of the dx220 excellent?
Absolutely!

Be aware that most of us have experienced improved sound during the first 100 - 200 hours of "burn-in" time. Some have let their DX220 run with the included cable to burn it in while others choose to just listen to it during the burn-in. Either way - enjoy and don't be afraid to use EQ and high gain setting if needed to drive your IEMs/headphones to your desired listening levels.

Cheers,
Tim

thanks, I read that it has a pleasant and musical sound and I am afraid that this tone hides the details.

The Dx220 is the best sound I've heard from a portable source. For example, the dx220 with the HD800 is somewhere at 85% of what the Burson Conductor V2 + can with the Hd800. And this with the standard module.

What format are the cards? Exfat or FAT 34 work fine. I have a number of test cards here in both formats but normally don't reformat.
I tried with Fat32, ExFAT and tried to format from Mac/Windows and from the player itself. Samsung and Sandisk cards, 128, 256 and 400 GB and nothing. Tried on MacBook Pro Retina 15" Late 2013 and iMac 27" 2013 too. I don't know where is the issue but as I said, its annoying try to copy information and pull out the microSD each time or enable Android Mode to enable Wifi drop through any app that allows you...

Any thoughts? Maybe the unit its damaged in some point? But if this is the case, where? Because the functionality its perfect in the rest of the tasks, just this app Android File Transfer doesn't allow me to read the SD properly, that's all

excellent, I can't wait for it to arrive
That's with the Hd800. When listening to iem, I have Dunu in 2000j, the separation of the instruments, the level of micro-detail, the control and especially the "holographic" image makes you think that you are listening to a very expensive headphone system.

It happened on my DX150 when mixing card reader and player itself. I was only able to see some folders.
Format card with https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter/ and start from scratch.
