This is frustrating... I only got the dx220 over the m11 because of the mqa support... So on tidal offline is it playing at 192khz and only displaying 44.1 or only playing it at 44.1?
My assumption would be because it was released around the same time as the DX220 and it’s another Android/streaming DAP. It has me intrigued also to be honest but I’m still leaning towards the DX220 over it.
But this seems to be the result of one guys statements in his comparison versus the many members here who have actually owned and compared the units with the more expensive lineup.
If one guy feels that way...all of a sudden it’s now in the same level. Again, take it with a grain of salt. If a metric ton of people find similar results in one comparison and another group of much smaller find the opposite. Well it’s easy. Go with what you like better. Accept that you don’t believe or hear what others do and move on.
But, HBB is one of the best trustable reviewer here. He said DM6 is the best iem under 300, and people followed him. They are happy at the end. He said fearless sf8 and s6 rui are the best iems under 500. Many underlined andromeda cannot compete with sf8. He also said to recommend sf8 over solaris. To say this, you have to have balls. And he says M11 matches with dx220 (doubled price) at sounding.
Anyway, whatever sound signature he likes is, hbb is always right from my perspective. He does not care waffles, but reality, which makes him unique in this forum.

I wasn't aware from this thread that the m11 was below the dx220? I haven't read anything about it until the hbb video, well except that it has a faster processor. Hey I'd like someone to take on his challenge from that video.
Naw, it couldn't be possible that something that's half the price of something else, could sound just as good

Stating the obvious cuz it's... obvious.

Let it go. Focus on the DX220 and for the benefit of Paul ,iBasso and potential owners....take some pics. Be positive. Make the community a fun thing to be a part of.

Wise words, comes from wisdom. If you are enjoying something then enjoy it as long as possible. One negative word can take this enjoyment from you. Also one can enjoy two or more daps at a time. Thats not like cheating onv your wife cause its a product, a device not human.
