Q-Lock PLUS modular plug system is a mainstay of DUNU cables, with high user satisfaction and critical acclaim. DUNU is grateful for the
continued support of our modular plug system and we aim to keep it continually available to users worldwide.
However, due to recent challenges to the supply chain, we are unable to produce a steady supply of cable models utilizing the
Q-Lock PLUS system finished in
chrome/grey. Therefore,
effective immediately, models utilizing the
Q-Lock PLUS system finished in
chrome/grey will instead be replaced by the
brushed metal steel/black version typically found on the
HULK PRO cable.
Users who purchase a new
DUW-03 cable or
Studio SA6 (which comes with the
DUW-03 as its default cable) may expect to receive a cable that uses the new connector color. There is
no difference in feature set between the two connector types aside from conductor plating. The brushed metal connectors are now gold-plated. Both male and female components will be color-matched in the box.
