Oh wow, the note 9 is heavily underrated as a player IMHO

Just a little shout-out for this amazing sounding and extremely underrated IEM!

I attented DUNU's TSAV event last week and I got to hear all of DUNU's current lineup of IEMs and the DK-3001 PRO was by far my favorite of the bunch.

I prefered them over the DK-4001 and even the Sony IER-Z1R that TSAV had available to demo! :scream: :money_mouth:

They have this up-front, vivid tuning that somehow isn't harsh, and they just made my music come alive. I absolutely loved the way they sounded! And the cable that they come with that has the interchangeable 2.5, 3.5 and 4.4mm jacks is such a brilliant design. They are definitely in my Top 3 under-$500 IEMs that I've heard so far.

So do yourself a favor and make sure to give them a listen before you pull the trigger on some kilo-buck IEM. You just might be surprised by which one you prefer!

Hey guys, how would DUNU DK-3001pro compete against Oriveti OH500? I remember @marcusd had published a review of OH500 too. I am planning to get one of these. Which one should I go for? I have loved the sound signature of Obravo Cupid and Kanas Pro. I was nearly in tears listening to Andromeda. For Dunu, the whole packaging is so fantastic. I hope I am allowed to post this doubt here. Newbie here. Thanks

Well the DUNU review was done by me but the Oriveti OH500 was done by one of our other reviewers so sadly I cannot draw a comparison.

Hawiibadboy says the 3001 Pro it's the best of the DK series. I live the Turquoise DK-2001 but it's not available yet.

Welp, what can I say. The dude knows great sound when he hears it!

Actually, he thought the DK-3001 Pro could use a touch more low bass (which he added in with the PEQ of his DAP), but I thought they sounded fantastic across the board as is (and yes, I tested their bass balance and performance), but at least he comfirmed that they respond well to EQ, becasue not many IEMs do.

is the bass similar on the dk3001 pro to the dk2001? Like similar in tightness, speed but just a bit less in quantity?

Not really.

The DK-3001 PRO is simply on another level compared to the DK-2001.

Yes it's $170 more expensive, but it more than justifies it's cost, IMHO.

At 11:15 in the above video, BGGAR lists some of his current overall favorite IEMs, which are:

$469 - DUNU DK-3001 PRO
$699 - Moondrop S8
$849 - Shuoer EJ07
$1349 - Tansio Mirai Zodiac

As you can see, the DK-3001 PRO is the least expensive of that group, and IMO it is also the least expensive 'end-game level' IEM I've yet heard. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I even prefered them over the $1700 IER-Z1R! :astonished:

Highly Recommended!!

Because he said that the dk2001 is similar to the shuoer tape and the tape has my kind of bass, but if the dk3001 pro has similar kind of bass ( tight and not boomy) then I might like that more because the mids and highs seems better.
