Wow are you serious? So that person was more than likely me. And I did not want to cancel the order. Thanks to whoever cancelled his order for the SA6 Ultra!
Managed to place an order with the help of HifiGo Team. Yeah!
Oct 26th
Basically, I ordered them through Amazon and HiFiGo contacted me that I was charged tax because of Amazon. They asked if I wanted to cancel and just buy directly.
Nov 5th
So, by the time I saw this message a week had already passed and the SA6 Ultra was already sold out. I responded to them saying that I appreciated them reaching out to save me some money and that next time I would order directly.
Nov 7th
Well they took that as me wanting to cancel my order. I didn't see their cancellation until 3 hours later, so I immediately responded to them on Amazon that I did not want to cancel but they had already done it. Further, I emailed their support team and they never responded.
Nov 8th and today
We've been back and forth on Amazon and they offered me a discount for next time, but this whole experience really rubbed me the wrong way.
This whole situation sucks. I have really been wanting the SA6 and was thrilled to see was they did with the Ultra.

I’ve a same experience of been canceled on the order. I order on the really last second with only 4 stocks left. I placed the order and message them to asked if Im successfully placed the order, and they have replied me that I definitely got a pair not to worries. Two day later, they got tracking number sent to my email, which I’m so excited about. But next day they told me they have to cancel my order and say the Ultra were all sold out already due to their system and staff issues. I just feel so crap on HIFIGO, thanks god I never purchased on HIFIGO before, and I’ll never do so again. @DUNU-Topsound, it will be a good idea to have a better retailer to represent your brand next time!!Wow are you serious? So that person was more than likely me. And I did not want to cancel the order.

That’s not the same thing as the Ultra. It will mimic the graph but it won’t improve the technicalities and characteristics that the actual, physical re-tune changed.Guys grab yourself a regular sa6 during dunu 11.11. sale and EQ it a bit and save money
Otherwise they could’ve said “buy an SA6 and EQ it” themselves

how do you know about improved technicalities? It's very likely just a retune with the same drivers etc.
To retune it, they have to make physical changes (dampening, reseating the driver, etc.). Physically changing the setup is what improves technicalities like sense of air in the soundstage because those changes alter how the sound produced reaches your ear.
EQ only changes the digital signal that’s sent to the driver. So it can change tonality, clarity, and timbre, but you can’t create changes in how your ear processes the signal with just EQ.
For example, the people who modded Falcon Pro to be a mini-Zen pro (because they share the same kind of driver tech) didn’t say EQ FP. The physical change is what improves FP not just a digital shift of the frequency.

We are aware of these reports now and are communicating with HiFiGo around this.
Thanks for letting us know.

I think he has a point. People who can't buy ultra only have the option of buying SA6 and EQing it or look for other options. That’s not the same thing as the Ultra. It will mimic the graph but it won’t improve the technicalities and characteristics that the actual, physical re-tune changed.

Imagine thinking that telling people to just EQ an IEM is good advice.
