Do you own various sound signatures or stick to one?

I use to switch between CKS77 and FXD80 for my Bass and Treble fixes, then the HA S500 on-ear came and sweep the both of them into the IEM collection drawer.
 
...a few weeks later, the HA S400 came and ensured that the S500 is permanently hooked up to the TV sound system.

I like to have IEM's that don't sound the same, its fun to change it up from time to time and if I get tired of them or something I just sale them like I've done with a few of mine recently.
 
The e-Q5 which is balanced and dynamic sounding because of the moving armature with not forward mids imo but they can be more present than the other frequencies sometimes
 
FAD Heaven IV which has some of the most unique sounding mids I've ever heard and great bass and soundstage for a single BA.
 
And later on today I get the RE262 which will be the most mid-centric IEM that I will have had.
 
Then the GR07 which is again balanced and sounds more like a stage monitor.
 
They might not be night and day differences but they don't sound alike either.

               Westone 4          - death metal / doom metal / shoe-gaze / jazz / for hardcore dubstep
 
              sennheiser IE80  - Trance / dubstep / r&b / Brit-pop / Goa

GR07, best for live music. (Stage monitor)
RE262, best for vocals.
EQ-5, amazing, most engaging sound.
DDM, best for laid-back, relaxed listening.
Superlux HD668B, neutral headphone I use on my computer.
 
Other IEMs I rarely use. 
IE8, RE-0, Hisound Crystal, Brainwavz B2, ... don't get much listening time.
B2 is very good but I prefer another sound signature.
IE8 is very good too but I prefer a more intimate sound.

They really are the best IEM that I've heard for vocals.  I've said that the e-Q7 though mid-centric the vocals sounded a bit dry and to technical sounding.  The RE262 is so smooth and lush it makes the vocals just melt into the music and female vocals like Adele's sound flat out amazing, I don't even really listen to Adele but I will now just to hear how good the RE262 presents her voice.
 
Also Kelli Ali from the Sneaker Pimps is another female voice that sounds awesome, Becoming X is an amazing album and if you've never heard it get now.

I'm frugal in the headphone world (I do not even know how I'm still part of the "Head-Fi" community by being frugal...), so my choices are petty compared to most others on this thread:
 
Clarity -- Classical, Acoustic, etc. ---------- Sennheiser HD 448 (Over-ear)
 
Spaciousness -- Acoustic, Pop, Rock, Songs with good stereo-space imaging ---------- Brainwavz M2 (IEM)
 
Bass-loaded -- Hip-Hop, Pop, Dance, Electronica, etc. ---------- JVC HAFX67B Air Cushion Headphones (IEM)
 
I am looking forward to possibly amassing enough funds for a more bass heavy over-ear styled headphone though, like the Pioneer HDJ-1500 Headphones or, as a cheaper option, the Kicker HP541 headphones. As a less-bassier option, the Sony MDR-V6. Don't know which one yet.

Not a very large collection, but in general I tend to like having various signatures depending my craving in music
 
Ety HF5 - analytical listening and clarity
 
SHE3580 (EQ'd) - slight v-shape fun signature
 
FX101 - sub-bass urges
 
Had a few others that were lost or died with really different sigs and still wish I had them to mix it up.
 
In terms of full size, the ATH M50 and SR225i complement each other well.

IMHO, one sound signature gets old after a while. In my case, varying signatures help to raise appreciation for each different sound signature, and individual sound of each can/iem. Though, there is a general preference for one signature, the majority of the time.

I currently have one earset, a JVC® HA-EBX85-Z, which I use in conjunction with a Motorola® S705 Bluetooth transceiver; it replaces a Philips® earset that failed a cable after two years' service.  Occasionally I'll run it direct from the Headphone jack of my Asus® CM1630-06 with EAH6850 DirectCU® video and XONAR® Essence™ STX audio via an extension cable and inline attenuator, even though, at just 32Ω, its impedance is less than optimum for the STX (which, at 10.7Ω source impedance, really wants a load of ≧100Ω).  One advantage of the HA-EBX85-Z is that it is small enough that many over-the-ear headsets will clear them, which I occasionally need.
 
So far, I haven't thought in terms of a sound signature for earsets, as physical security and adaptability to monitoring situations take precedence.

I have tinnitus pretty bad so I stick to a warmer, smoother sound signature. I can't really hear anything above 15k so it does me no good to get "hot" headphones/iems.
The 1964-Ds are just right.

I had some headphones with some sound sigs but i feel it is so trouble. I also think that it will harm the 3.5 jacks on my headphone

(because of taking the jack out and in from my laptop/amp over and over). And i see many headphones out there today have a good sound and fit for almost my music genres, example: the westone 4, denon d7000, vsonic gr07 and especially the audeze lcd-2 r2<3<3

p.s: i listen to almost everything but metal

I like the idea of a single versatile IEM. UM Miracle fits the bill now.
