lol:)

yes i know:D

but from these 3?

I have the will of jumping on the D2000... for 210$ seem a bargain.....   But will i be missing much on the D5000? its 162 $ more...

if the D5000 is a more well defined and more balanced headphone trough bass/mids/treble... then i go the extra mile:D

like the diference in the cmoyBB and c421... seems small but then you notice:D

I like my D2ks quite a bit, but then again, I don't know what D5ks sound like. However, in comparing my dad's D7ks with my D2ks, the D7ks are a bit more even-sounding than the D2ks, while the D2ks have a teenie bit less defined bass.
The difference is slight, but it exists. My guess is that the D5ks are probably in the middle of the two, so maybe the difference is even less- but, again, I wouldn't know since I haven't heard the D5ks.

I don't have any external DAC or AMP so results may not match or be so noticeable as mine but when i compared D5000 to D7000 so that i cn decide which one to keep i found that D5000 have deeper bass than D7000 but at the same time D5000 had distorted treble on a lot of recordings whose recording level was set too high (can't be fixed using graphic EQ) plus some recordings may sound a little too bright (easily fixable with graphic EQ) while D7000 have about 10% less bass depth than D5000 but they fix distorted highs problem on most recordings with too high recording level and on those where distortion still here it not so much of a problem. Also brightness is no longer here plus D7000 have more refined details and clarity of track as whole so based on this findings i choose to keep D7000 and i think that the way highs are presented iy compensate that 10% bass depth loss when listening to a track as whole

This whole line is one of the great series in headphones IMHO.
I recommend them to people new in headphones even though they are getting hard to find.
Reason is they are unabashfully fun sounding headphones.
So many people spend they're time tracking down analytical headphones, usually settling on the MOST analytical headphone they can afford.

Thank you Denon for your gift to humanity
