Denon D2000/D5000, MD2000/MD5000 Thread!

Just ordered the D5000 from the US for about 500 $ with shipping. I live in norway and the denon d5000 are crazy expensive here. Here they go for usd 1024 at the local hi fi store. Its ridiculous. I can buy a pair of d7000 for that price. Even tho they get stopped in customs it will be worth it.

Anyway. Can not wait to get them, I also ordered the jmoney pads and I am currently waiting for the ibasso d10 from china as well. This will be fantastic

Congrats! You're gonna love them.
Btw, in the Netherlands and Germany they are sold at some places for 999 EURO!!, which is approx. 1375 US Dollar

The cheapest you can get them over here is 799 EURO, which still is a whopping 1090 US Dollar...needless to say I got mine from the internet, shipped from the US

I come back here just to say, I sold my D5000 and ordered a D7000 few minutes ago. It's because I'm so impressed w/ D5000 that I need to get the best Denon out there. You can't go wrong w/ Denon. D5000 is one of the best all around for me (especially for its price). Everything about it is just wow.

Now D7000 is the keeper. I don't look else where for a very long time. I know it!

Have you had a chance to listen to a D7000 before?

I got a brief listen to an LA7000 at a meet. It's a big grin for those who like the Denon sound. Better bass control was obvious. Not as recessed as my D2000. Timbre of the tenor sax improved for the jazz test track I tried (it's a track where the timbre sounds off on my D2000). Still very Denon. I haven't been able to listen to a stock D7000 yet. I also haven't had a chance to listen to a D5000 yet either.

Yeah, that LA D7000 at the meet was sweet. I absolutely love my stock D5000 and don't really feel the need to upgrade. I'd have to hear a stock D7000 first. Anyway, can't go wrong. Denons are amazing.

What ,is it that cheap in US

. I also live in Norway and have a D5000 to test now, and as you say its very expensive here. Maybe i should send it back and order from the US. The D5000 is probarly more expensive than a D7000 in US?

Må bare spørre på Norsk...hva kom den på i norske kroner med frakt og toll?

Takk for svar

2900 kr for a d7000 ? Wow isn't 2,900kr like 300 euro ? for that price I'd probably buy a spare. Could you give the ebayer name please ?

Much confusion right now. He ordered a D5000, not D7000 for 2900 kr. Thats a very cheap price. I payed 5200 kr shipped, but i think i would return it and buy from US
