Can anybody give me a rough estimate of the cost of impressions in the U.S?

I use earplug superstore (google it). The kit is around $26 shipped to the USA and has enough material to make 5 impressions. There's a slightly cheaper kit for 3 impressions but I think the 5 version is a better deal. They ship overseas too, but the price might be a bit much.

I have the budget to get a set of these or a GR07. Any suggestions? I mainly deal with full sizers. Dual Driver Pure Plus's that is.

Note that pure plus is not a dual driver! Pure is a single dynamic, and pure plus is a single BA.

I don't think the bass is that little on them, I have heard IEMs with a lot less. I will try using my J3 to EQ with them and see how it effects them.

IPhone 5 will be fine I guess as I forgot a dedicated source when I went to school yesterday so I just used iPhone 4 and yhats what the impressions are based on!

Doesn't the Merlin cost more than twice the price of the HY3?

Yes I think I know what you mean, I contacted them asking about volume levles because I needed them really loud. I was given the option of having the dual driver but I refused because he said the sound quality wasn't as good but it was the loudest driver they have apparently - reason I didn't get it was because I didnt want to damage my hearing!
EDIT: Don't worry I'm talking about something completely different!

I think the Merlins are $799 - from memory.
