Hi Kakki-san, based on the photos from your blog (http://community.phileweb.com/mypage/entry/1943/20140315/41664/) , it seems that your Hugo has the first edition chassis. I compared to mine and could not spot any difference.

if your is same like that , you also have the revision chassis, iam 100 percent sure the rca and spdif is bigger hole than mine

this is mine

top is mine the original chasis, the bottom is kakki's revision chassis, see the space between spdif and the optical compare to to the original ones

the cow is a 'jumper', you have to sinc by nodding your head whilst looking up or you'll miss it... do you reckon I should do a pre-order promotion on the 'oxygen free' caps?

Yes, you could join forces with the folks at Calyx M. :^)

Here is mine, original chassis. Seems to be in between the top two. I suspect it's due to varying tolerance and not a revised chassis.

I am not overly impressed with the case of the Hugo. Seems they could have done more R&D and just worked harder on a quality chassis that also looked good. Realizing the size constraints and the number of connections do make this a challenge.

Seeing Woodcans' photo, it seems like my chassis is still the same with the original chassis... sorry to occur confusion!
So the original chassis is slightly modified from the ones in the photos in the Chord website.
and Chord will be modifying it again as the new chassis within 6 weeks or so...
I will need to confirm with my local dealer if I will be able to get the product replaced or upgraded.

Since you own both  perhaps you could say which i better in terms of absolute SQ between the Hugo and AK240.. I have read some impressions which indicate the difference is negligible.
Is this correct ? What do you think. If you wanted to buy one and only one unit ignoring the portability factor which would it be for use with IEMs ?

i'm so in love with the Hugo!

Finally the only DAC/Amp imho, that can produce incredible staging and imaging for my classical music!
