I had no time to listen at all but just received the standard USB for ZX1, so I will try soon. I also ordered better ZX1 and USB cables from DHC.

Please choose without the nipple in the middle

Dust cover with nipple in the center can make your Hugo short circuit , you can try it , the result no function at all on Hugo

The left ones is correct
The right one is wrong can make short circuit to your Hugo

Not exactly sure but most likely DHC could pretty much mod anything like WMC-NWH10 by replacing the generic part(s) of that cable with something like OCC copper / silver etc. Alternatively, they could simply crack WMC-NWH10 opened and then perhaps those pin configurations should be a piece of cake to understand?

Recently someone in China already made this 3rd party silver/copper hybrid cable for connecting ZX1 to PHA-2 directly

He even made another Lightning cable for MFi-certified USB DAC but not entirely sure if that were any good for iOS 7.1.x and beyond, LOL

Here's one more coaxial cable to go from X5 to Hugo and its RCA connector looked pretty darn good for Hugo's recessed jack, of course the caveat is whether it's actually 75-ohm or otherwise

I bet he could probably figure out how to make yet another cable to go directly from ZX1 to Hugo's micro USB input. So far he's just asking 199 RMB for those relatively special cables, that's why it's a pretty good deal for us in China / Hong Kong etc. to pay roughly 70 bucks for something like that.

Maybe George or Michael's plastic duck friend could talk to that seller and then find out what nice cables (right-angled and all that) for Hugo would be feasible.

As usual the "Holy Grail" might be getting the bulk wire of Wireworld's flagship Platinum Eclipse for HK$1,000/ft here in Hong Kong (i.e. authorized dealer in SSP) first, then send that over to someone who's skillful to make some incredible-sounding interconnects for us.

Yes we do, Audioquest do a great RCA Noise Stopper. They are also silver so fit the Hugo well.
