Don't mean to steer the thread in a different direction...I just picked up a 2Qute and using an ALO CDM as my amp. It sounds remarkably better the Hugo I had. From what I understand, the two DAC's are virtually identical...
Has anyone else experienced this difference between the two?

guys, an upgraded hugo is the hugo tt. a smaller hugo is the mojo. they'd have to split their lines into 1,000 different products for us to be happy or we can wait for the v2 versions.
There is simply nothing available for the price in the portable DAC realm today better than both Mojo and Hugo....the TT is wonderful but has competitors in its proce range...the DAVE on the other hand I believe is the best in its price class and beyond
I have just drunk a few glasses of cairanne, so I gathered the courage to try your link. Give me the DAVE anyday, the msb has an 'ugly pixelated display'.

Well I for once think the $500 segment has peak in terms of price/performance. I love the Mojo (though it was hot), idsd micro and grace m9xx and found Chinese products of the same price to be no better. That's when I decided to go for the Hugo. There's only so much you can get
